Über Wolf Theiss
Wolf Theiss steht für lokales Know-how verbunden mit internationaler Kompetenz. Seit der Gründung vor mehr als 65 Jahren in Wien haben wir uns zu einer der führenden Anwaltssozietäten in Mittel-, Ost- und Südosteuropa (CEE/SEE) entwickelt.
400 Jurist:innen aus unterschiedlichsten Rechtsbereichen arbeiten in unseren Büros in 13 Ländern sowie an unserem zentralen europäischen Standort in Brüssel zusammen. Unterstützt werden sie von über 300 Kolleg:innen aus verschiedenen Business-Teams. Gemeinsam bilden sie die Grundlage für unsere internationale Zusammenarbeit und unseren Erfolg.

Unsere Teams leben von unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen und Hintergründen. Mitarbeitende aus 20 Ländern und mit 30 verschiedenen Sprachen bringen vielfältige Perspektiven ein. Rund die Hälfte unserer Jurist:innen ist weiblich – diese Vielfalt prägt unsere Zusammenarbeit und unsere Kanzleikultur.

Mehr als 80 % unserer Arbeit umfasst die grenzüberschreitende Beratung internationaler Mandant:innen. Unser Netzwerk eröffnet unseren Jurist:innen die Möglichkeit, an internationalen Projekten mitzuwirken und mit Kolleg:innen aus verschiedenen Ländern zusammenzuarbeiten.

We have built our reputation on a combination of unrivalled local knowledge and strong international capability. We opened our first office in Vienna over 55 years ago. Our team now brings together over 340 lawyers from a diverse range of backgrounds, working in offices in 13 countries throughout the CEE/SEE region.
Over 80% of our work involves cross-border representation of international clients. Although English is used as the official language of Wolf Theiss, the firm members speak over 30 different languages. When working on projects, our view is that heterogeneous, multi-cultural teams consistently outperform homogeneous teams on a variety of tasks.
