To this end, we advise and support them with solutions covering the strategy, design, development, and commissioning of potential rail systems and provide consulting support for the conception and implementation of innovative projects in the railway environment.

Annual Salary: 79.000 – 100.500 € brutto The stated salary range refers to the intended starting salary. Depending on qualifications and experience, overpayment is possible.
What you can expect
- Advising our clients in digitalization and transformation projects in the railway and mobility sector, for example as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, RAMS Manager, Solution Architect, Test Manager, or in Project and Product Owner roles
- Analyzing, structuring, and managing business and technical requirements as well as developing concepts for complex railway systems and digital solutions
- Contributing to or leading innovative digitalization projects across the entire project lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation and deployment
- Supporting topics related to RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety) and assisting in the implementation of safety-related requirements in railway projects
- Providing methodologically sound consulting at the interface between business, IT, and system suppliers, with a focus on sustainable and future-oriented solutions
- Contributing to the further development of our consulting portfolio as well as internal knowledge building, recruiting, and market activities
Ready for Detecon?
- Master's degree in a STEM field, Business Informatics, Railway Technology, or a comparable discipline
- Several years of experience in management consulting or in a comparable role within digitalization, IT, technology, or railway projects
- Experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering, or RAMS-related topics is an advantage
- Strong technical affinity as well as experience in the business and technical design of complex systems and IT solutions
- Hands-on experience with common tools and methods such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, UML, and agile delivery frameworks (e.g., Scrum or SAFe); knowledge of GIS and geospatial technologies is a strong plus
- Excellent German and English language skills as well as willingness to travel within the DACH region
