Employment type: Full-time position through employment contract.
Work setup: Hybrid, connected to the local office in the respective country.
IGT is looking for a passionate Frontend Game Developer to help create top-tier casino games for mobile, tablet, and desktop. The role works in a small squad alongside animators, artists, audio engineers, and game producers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building interactive web-based casino games from concept to launch.
- Bringing fresh ideas to improve new and existing games.
- Keeping games running smoothly with ongoing maintenance and updates.
- Collaborating with a team across Europe, the UK and the US.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in game development.
- Strong TypeScript skills with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with PixiJS, SpineJS and tweening systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Node/NPM or Yarn.
- Version control expertise with Git, branching strategies and code reviews.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and web browsers.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
What We’d Prefer
- Experience with build automation tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
- Experience using Jira or other project management tools.
- Good knowledge of AI and emerging technologies.
- A relevant degree.
