Be part of a digital transformation in which you contribute to introducing and driving the global implementation of SAP SuccessFactors within all of C&A, with a specific focus on the Employee Central (EC) and Compensation modules. In this role you will work closely together with Solution Architect SAP SuccessFactors as well as our implementation and other TECH counterparts, business stakeholders as well as other HR teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Partake in the design and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors solutions, with a primary focus on the Employee Central (EC) and Compensation modules, including foundation objects, position management, org structures, workflows, compensation planning, and variable pay templates. 
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configure SuccessFactors solutions to meet those needs. 
  • Support the hiring and onboarding lifecycle in Employee Central, including new hire data model configuration, hiring/rehire workflows, and integration touchpoints with Compensation processes such as offer and starting salary setup. 
  • Configure and maintain Compensation templates, guidelines, and worksheets to support annual compensation review, merit, and bonus cycles. 
  • Serve as the technical expert and provide guidance on best practices, solution architecture, and system integrations. 
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of SuccessFactors with other enterprise systems. 
  • Engage with business leaders to understand their needs and provide strategic recommendations for leveraging SuccessFactors to improve HR processes. 
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate stakeholders on solution capabilities and usage.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the implementation, configuration, and operation of SAP SuccessFactors.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Compensation modules, including hiring, position management, and compensation planning processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects in complex organizational environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices, and SuccessFactors solution configuration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Wels, 1984. Hier öffnete die erste C&A-Filiale in Österreich. Heute sind es 94 Standorte im ganzen Land, vom Einkaufszentrum bis in kleinere Bezirksstädte. Wer sich bei C&A bewirbt, landet meist dort, wo der Handel wirklich passiert: auf der Verkaufsfläche, an der Kassa, im Lager.

C&A verkauft Alltagsmode für die ganze Familie, für Damen, Herren und Kinder, zu Preisen, die breite Käuferschichten erreichen. Das Unternehmen ist alt. Gegründet haben es schon 1841 die Brüder Clemens und August Brenninkmeijer im niederländischen Sneek; aus ihren Vornamen stammen die beiden Buchstaben im Namen. Die Familie Brenninkmeijer besitzt das Unternehmen bis heute. Europaweit betreibt C&A nach eigenen Angaben über 1.300 Geschäfte in 17 Ländern und beschäftigt mehr als 27.000 Menschen. Wie viele davon in Österreich arbeiten, weist die Firma öffentlich nicht aus. Die österreichische Gesellschaft sitzt an der Mariahilfer Straße in Wien und ist als GmbH & Co. KG eingetragen, mit der schweizerischen C&A Retail GmbH als persönlich haftender Gesellschafterin.

Den größten Teil der Stellen stellt der Verkauf. Kundinnen beraten, kassieren, Ware schlichten, die Fläche ansehnlich halten. Daneben gibt es das Visual Merchandising, das darüber entscheidet, wie Schaufenster und Auslagen wirken. Und es braucht Leute, die ein Team führen, in der Filialleitung und ihrer Stellvertretung.

Den Nachwuchs zieht C&A in Österreich selbst heran. Lehrlinge im Einzelhandel arbeiten von Anfang an in allen Bereichen einer Filiale mit und lernen das Geschäft von der Warenbestellung bis zur Beratung an der Kassa kennen. Wer will, macht die Lehre mit Matura. Ein Praktikum im Ausland ist ebenfalls möglich.
