Your tasks
  •  Manage the lifecycle of framework agreements and multi-year customer contracts in a technically and legally complex environment.
  • Support pre-sales activities and business development for Mission Critical Networks (MCN) across the DACH region.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and maintain service, maintenance, and long-term support agreements (e.g., MCO, MCS, LTS) and develop Cyber PACS offerings.
  • Prepare and cost commercial proposals for 5G, RAN, MCx, BSS, and NSS solutions, including upgrades, spare parts, price revisions, and training.
  • Develop tailored technical solutions for Mission Critical Networks in the transportation sector while considering technical, commercial, and financial requirements.
  • Perform commercial and financial analyses of proposals and assess Kontron Transportation's contractual commitments.
  • Present technical and commercial solutions to customers and act as the key interface for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support during customer negotiations in close collaboration with the Sales team and take ownership of the customer solutions portfolio covering products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval and governance processes for commercial proposals.
Your qualifications:
  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in pre-sales, business development, sales engineering, project management, or delivery within the telecommunications industry, including customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Proven experience managing framework agreements and multi-year contracts in technically and commercially complex environments.
  • Strong expertise in Mission Critical Networks, including GSM-R, FRMCS, 4G/5G, MCx, IP technologies, and professional mobile communication solutions.
  • Solid understanding of deployment, operation, and maintenance services for railway and mission-critical communication networks.
  • Experience preparing and delivering complex telecom proposals or large-scale customer projects, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical experts as well as executive stakeholders (CxO level).
  • Good knowledge of the transportation telecommunications ecosystem, including radio access networks, terminals, transmission technologies, and railway services.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills such as German or Slavic languages are considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-oriented solutions.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and proactive team player with a passion for innovation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
