About the department

 

Customer Project Execution is responsible for preparing, installing, commissioning and finally handover wind farms to our customers. Working closely together with the customer and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, cost-effectively and with a high-quality standard.

Region Central has three Teams of Project Managers. The Team Austria & Germany South/East consists of 15 Project Managers located in Berlin and Vienna, managing the projects in this sub-region.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved! 

 

  • You are accountable for delivering projects across your sub-region, meeting targets while continually improving efficiency and long-term competitiveness
  • You plan capacity ahead of time and guide, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers so they can effectively balance scope, budgets, resources, and timelines
  • You create an environment where project ownership is clear, and teams are empowered to act, decide, and deliver
  • You identify, evaluate, and manage risks throughout the project portfolio, promoting transparency and early mitigation
  • You promote a safety-focused culture and ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are applied, upheld, and continually improved in accordance with local requirements
  • You cultivate reliable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure effective project delivery and lasting collaboration
  • You support great customer outcomes by nurturing customer relationships and ensuring ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • You frequently examine projects, operating practices, and processes, making enhancements and contributing to the CPX organization's ongoing development
  • You help create an inclusive environment in which all people are treated with respect, receive support, and are able to thrive
  • You guide improvement programs that advance operational excellence, team performance, and enduring business growth

 

Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role

 

  • You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or have acquired equivalent qualifications through relevant professional experience
  • You bring solid experience in a comparable leadership role within an international project organization, ideally in the wind energy, renewable energy, or construction industry
  • You bring experience in project management
  • You bring extensive experience in leading teams, cultivating growth, and promoting a collaborative culture
  • You bring sharp business and financial judgment, including ownership of profit and loss and KPI oversight, along with a customer-centered, solution-driven approach
  • You communicate effectively and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across functions, cultures, and organizational levels
  • You bring a strategic and business-focused mindset, foresee emerging challenges and opportunities, and guide change initiatives from start to finish
  • You lead topics from start to finish, adapting to challenges and delivering lasting solutions with clear, measurable results
  •  You approach tasks with organization and precision while staying effective in innovative environments that continue to evolve
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

About the department
