Job Introduction

Key Tasks

• Manage the Group's global insurance program across all subsidiaries and locations worldwide.
• Act as the primary contact for insurance brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders on all insurance-related matters.
• Coordinate insurance renewals, policy negotiations, and placement of new insurance coverage.
• Lead the management and resolution of insurance claims, ensuring timely reporting, documentation, and settlement.
• Prepare insurance reports, loss analyses, and management information for senior leadership and governance bodies.
• Support business units and project teams in identifying and addressing project-specific risks and insurance requirements.
• Analyze contractual insurance requirements and advise business units on risk transfer and insurance-related obligations.
• Support the Group-wide Enterprise Risk Management process, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business units and legal entities to evaluate emerging risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures.

Key Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in corporate insurance management, insurance brokerage, risk management, or a comparable role within an international industrial environment.
• University degree in Law, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of global insurance programs, claims management, and contractual risk transfer mechanisms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent command of German and English, written and spoken, is required.

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 54,504 gross per year based on a 38.5 hour week plus an overpayment in line with the market depending on professional qualifications and experience.
