A CSM Key Account Manager manages a customer at the global or corporate level. They will manage and support key CSM customers who have a strategic importance to Husky’s business and future growth.
The Key Account Manager is responsible to increase Husky’s CSM share of wallet year over year. The Key Account Manager needs to develop a CSM account strategy for each of their key accounts and meet or exceed their financial targets. Relationships and business development plans must be established at the corporate and plant level, depending on the customer’s decision-making process. This role is also responsible to ensure the Husky corporate image (brand) is well known and respected over competitors. The Key Account Manager must possess a very in-depth understanding of their global market and to establish and maintain very strong high-level relationships with their accounts. This role will partner with Rigid Key Account Managers handling similar accounts as well as other CSM staff that are calling on or servicing the accounts’ regional offices or accounts that are suppliers to the key account.

In Waidhofen an der Thaya entstehen seit 1979 Werkzeuge für Kunststoffverschlüsse. Aus KTW wurde Husky-KTW, der österreichische Standort des kanadischen Spritzgieß-Konzerns Husky Technologies. Verschlüsse für Wasser- und Softdrinkflaschen, wie sie in jedem Supermarktregal stehen, entstehen mit dieser Art von Technik in Millionenstückzahlen. An der Brunnerstraße dreht sich heute alles um Technik, Service und Kundenanlagen.
Husky liefert komplette Spritzgießsysteme, also Maschine, Werkzeug und Heißkanal aus einer Hand. Kunden sind Getränkeabfüller, Verpackungshersteller und die Medizintechnik. Der Konzern beschäftigt nach eigenen Angaben mehr als 4.300 Menschen, betreut Kunden in über 140 Ländern und hält dafür rund 600 Fachleute in 40 Service- und Vertriebsbüros bereit (husky.co, Stand August 2026). Gefertigt wird vor allem in Kanada, den USA, Luxemburg und China. Der Hauptsitz liegt in Bolton, Ontario. Seit Januar 2026 gehört Husky zur an der New Yorker Börse notierten GPGI, Inc.
Der österreichische Standort hat seine eigene Vorgeschichte. KTW baute hier Werkzeuge für Verschlüsse und galt in dieser Nische international als eine der ersten Adressen; 2011 übernahm Husky das Unternehmen und machte Waidhofen zum Kompetenzzentrum für Verschlusswerkzeuge. 2019 verlagerte der Konzern die Fertigung an andere Gruppenstandorte, geblieben sind Service und Technik. Husky-KTW arbeitet seither als Vertriebs-, Dienstleistungs- und Ingenieurbüro.
Die aufrechten Gewerbeberechtigungen lauten auf Mechatronik für Maschinen- und Fertigungstechnik, für Elektronik und für Automatisierungstechnik. Das beschreibt den Arbeitsalltag ziemlich genau. Servicetechnikerinnen und Techniker halten Anlagen beim Kunden am Laufen, rüsten ältere Maschinen um und lassen Heißkanäle aufarbeiten, dazu kommen Vertrieb und Auftragsabwicklung. Sieben Servicezentren der Gruppe überwachen Kundenanlagen rund um die Uhr, und für die fachliche Schulung von Bedienern und Technikern betreibt Husky eine eigene Learning Academy.
Wer hier einsteigt, hat mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen in Luxemburg, Tschechien und Kanada zu tun. Wie viele Menschen derzeit am Standort beschäftigt sind, veröffentlicht das Unternehmen nicht; 2019 war von 30 bis 40 Stellen im Servicebereich die Rede.
