Job Description

We currently employ more than 400 people at our Vienna office, making it one of Sportradar's largest and most important offices worldwide. As Office Manager & Executive Assistant, you will work alongside a dynamic and ambitious team to help continue this success story. This is a fixed-term part time position (from 25 to 32 hours / 5 day week) covering maternity leave from October 2026 until January 2028.

 

THE CHALLENGE

  • Further develop the Vienna office as a "Great Place to Work" for our employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding office-related matters. Troubleshooting and resolving general office issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Act as the key communication interface between the Managing Directors and employees.
  • Support executive management in all administrative and organizational matters. Handling traditional assistant responsibilities, including calendar management, visitor reception and hospitality, meeting room coordination and mail administration.
  • Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to support the successful implementation of our Return-to-Office policy (4-day office presence), including office redesign, workplace planning, space utilization, employee communication and initiatives that enhance collaboration and the overall employee experience.
  • Organize and participate in weekly Management Meetings (until April/May 2027), including preparation, follow-up, minutes, reports, and presentations.
  • Prepare management presentations, reports, and meeting documentation, primarily in English as well as managing contracts and documentation via DocuSign.
  • Correspond with relevant stakeholders on both national and international levels.
  • Prepare reports and monitor the office budget.
  • Independently define and manage internal administrative procedures and drive office-related projects.
  • Coordinate and oversee Facility Management activities, including managing relationships with the cleaning company, landlord and health and safety officer.
  • Manage company car leasing and supplier related contracts and administration.
  • Coordinate office supplies, maintain storeroom inventory, and manage employee goodies and giveaways.
  • Support with the planning and delivery of employee engagement initiatives and events, including: Town Hall, Summer Party, Christmas Party, Sportinsel events
  • Support various departments, including People, Marketing, and Finance including the approving of invoices and overseeing related administrative processes.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Office Management, Executive Assistance, or a comparable role.
  • Completed business or commercial education/training.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are required (English is the corporate language).
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor.
  • Strong initiative, hands-on mentality, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to make objective decisions. While you are comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously, you thrive in a team environment where collaboration, trust, and mutual support are key to success.   • Experience with local employer branding and employee engagement initiatives is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to coordinate events, manage external vendors, and maintain a high-quality workplace experience.

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.

Rund 150.000 Menschen öffnen jeden Tag laola1.at oder ski1.at. Betrieben werden die beiden Sportportale von der Sportradar Media Services GmbH am Rothschildplatz in Wien-Leopoldstadt. Im selben Haus steuert ein Master Control Room jährlich mehr als 400.000 Livestreams, unter anderem für die NHL und den DFB. Zur Eröffnung des Standorts im Mai 2024 arbeiteten dort rund 415 Menschen aus 45 Nationen.

Das Haus hat zwei Seiten. Die eine ist Redaktion: Sportjournalistinnen und Sportjournalisten berichten über Fußball und Skisport, dazu kommen TV-Studios und ein Streamingangebot unter LAOLA1.tv. Die andere Seite ist Technik. In Wien entwickeln Teams Videoplattformen für Ligen und Verbände, etwa für die NHL, den DFB und den asiatischen Fußballverband AFC, und im Master Control Room laufen die Übertragungen rund um die Uhr über die Kontrollpulte. Die Medienbehörde RTR führt LAOLA1.tv als Fernsehveranstalter, verbreitet über Kabelnetze, digital-terrestrisch und übers Internet. Auch Portale wie 90minuten.at und eishockey.at sind dort auf die Gesellschaft registriert.

Nicht alles läuft über die eigene Marke. Mehr als 300 Unternehmen buchen nach Angaben von LAOLA1 Werbe- und Content-Formate rund um das Portal, und für Klubs, Ligen und Medienhäuser produziert das Team Videos und digitale Dienste. Auf den Social-Media-Kanälen folgen der Marke rund 350.000 Menschen.

Seit 2016 gehört die Gesellschaft zu Sportradar, davor lag sie in österreichischem Eigentum. Der Konzern wurde 2001 gegründet, sitzt in St. Gallen, ist an der Nasdaq notiert und beschäftigt nach eigenen Angaben mehr als 3.900 Menschen in 20 Ländern. Über eine Million Sportereignisse wertet Sportradar pro Jahr aus, zu den Partnern zählen die UEFA und die NBA. Für Wien heißt das konkret: Was hier gebaut wird, läuft bei Verbänden auf mehreren Kontinenten.

Den Standort am Austria Campus bezog das Unternehmen im Mai 2024, gut 4.500 Quadratmeter im zweiten Bezirk. Im Haus stehen ein Padel-Court, ein Fitnessraum und eine subventionierte Kantine. Gearbeitet wird hybrid mit flexiblen Zeiten, das Öffi-Ticket bezuschusst der Arbeitgeber. Gesucht werden in Wien regelmäßig Entwicklerinnen und Entwickler, dazu Rollen in Buchhaltung und Personalarbeit. Aktuellere Beschäftigtenzahlen als jene vom Mai 2024 veröffentlicht die Gesellschaft nicht.

LAOLA1 ging nach Unternehmensangaben vor mehr als 22 Jahren online. Österreichs größtes Sportportal ist es nach eigener Darstellung bis heute.
