Key Responsibilities

• Independent management of day-to-day accounting, including asset accounting, and preparation of annual financial statements up to the preliminary balance sheet in accordance with UGB (Austrian Commercial Code)
• Responsible for monthly and annual financial closings
• Preparation of reports and further development of cost accounting
• Dunning and receivables management
• Payment processing and transactions
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns (UVA)
• Assisting with the budgeting process
• Key point of contact for all operational accounting matters and tax queries
• Optimization of ongoing accounting processes and identification of potential for automation

Requirements

• Certified Senior Accountant qualification (Bilanzbuchhalterprüfung)
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, preferably in a tax advisory/accounting firm
• Proficiency in BMD NTCS and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Independent and structured working style
• Excellent affinity for numbers and strong attention to detail
• High level of commitment, flexibility, and strong team spirit
• Strong communication skills
• Resilient under pressure and highly reliable
• Strong willingness to learn and pursue continuous professional development
• Very good command of written and spoken English

• The salary, depending on qualifications and experience, follows the current salary scale with a minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 3,224.00 (14 times a year) for an employment based on a full-time equivalent
