A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Control Specification Engineer (f/m/d) for Gas Turbine Auxiliaries, you work on open-loop control and protection specifications throughout the entire lifecycle of auxiliary systems, from concept development to commissioning support. You collaborate with engineers, suppliers, instrumentation specialists, and commissioning teams to align technical requirements and ensure seamless system integration. Some days are dedicated to specification development and documentation, while others involve resolving operational challenges, supporting project teams, or addressing site issues. You work in an international environment with colleagues from diverse technical and cultural backgrounds.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsibility for reference engineering and control specification development for gas turbine fuel systems
- Technical ownership of auxiliary systems, including control, protection, and functional performance aspects
- Coordination and clarification of interfaces with engineering teams, suppliers, commissioning personnel, and other stakeholders
- Creation and maintenance of automation specifications, parameter lists, interface documentation, and related technical documents
- Support for customer-specific engineering requirements and project adaptations
- Back-office support for site activities, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues
What You Bring
- Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Professional experience in control and protection system design with knowledge of relevant engineering disciplines
- Strong analytical mindset and systematic approach to solving technical challenges
- Ability to develop practical and innovative solutions while considering implementation risks
- Strong communication and coordination skills for interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly proficient written and spoken English with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
