The position

As of now we are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager to drive strategic marketing excellence across the Oncology and Inflammation therapeutic area within the RCV region.

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of regional marketing strategies, ensuring alignment of business priorities across countries and functions. Working closely with country teams, cross-functional stakeholders, regional and global asset teams, you will leverage customer and market insights to maximize brand performance, identify growth opportunities, and enable the successful implementation of regional initiatives.

A key aspect of this role is supporting the introduction and launch of highly innovative medicines, helping shape market readiness, accelerate adoption, and deliver meaningful value to patients across the region.

This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a high-potential marketer to strengthen strategic and regional leadership capabilities, expand cross-functional influence, and gain broad exposure to business management within a complex, international organization.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration among commercial, medical, and access teams in achieving shared goals and aligning on vision
  • Demonstrate the ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Anticipate and share cross-functional insights to foster insight-driven, customer-centric decision-making
  • Maximize patient engagement with brands at each stage of life cycle within the RCV region
  • Propose and implement corrective actions when performance metrics are not met, including resource reallocation strategies

Requirements

  • PhD or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Medicine, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of cross-functional experience (marketing, market access, medicine, sales, etc.) with a strong local market awareness; leadership experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead collaboratively and strong cross-functional business acumen
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and brand planning, with the potential for strategic development
  • Fluency in oral and written English

Your Benefits

  • Flexible working time models: home office and flexible working hours, depending on department and position – many things are possible with us.
  • Additional days off (“bridge-days”): more free time through additional days off to bridge single working days between bank holidays and the weekend – without having to use vacation days.
  • Canteen & Cafeteria: whether it's coffee and croissant for breakfast, various lunch menus or snacks in between – our subsidized staff restaurant & cafeteria has something for every taste including vegetarian and vegan options.
  • Learning & development: diverse training and development opportunities for your personal and professional growth. Because: you never stop learning.
  • Health promotion: health is important to us – that's why we offer different programs to promote physical and mental health.
  • Public transport ticket: we encourage our employees to use public transport on their daily way to work. Costs for public transport? We cover them!

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 120.300 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
