Finance Controller*in (m/w/d)
NORDSEE is the best-known brand in German fish gastronomy. Around 2,000 colleagues in our restaurants and at our head office make sure our guests get a piece of holiday feeling every day, at more than 160 locations.
We are looking to strengthen our Controlling team: someone who does not just compile numbers, but understands what they say about our business and turns that into a basis for decisions in Operations and at management level.
Your responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial reporting, including closing, P&L analysis and variance analysis.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts, including restaurant-level revenue and cost planning.
- Analyse restaurant profitability, sales performance and key business drivers, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Evaluate commercial initiatives, including marketing campaigns, promotions and upselling, with a focus on sales impact, profitability and ROI.
- Develop and improve daily, weekly and monthly reporting, ensuring clear and actionable performance insights.
- Partner with Finance, Operations and Marketing to translate data into recommendations and business actions.
- Prepare business cases, scenarios and ad hoc analyses to support management decisions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability and operational efficiency.
What you bring
- A completed degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or finance, or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience: mid level.
- Very good Excel skills and experience in preparing and analysing financial and business reports.
- A strong analytical mindset and a solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong communication skills across all hierarchical levels and the ability to present to different audiences.
- Curiosity, a high sense of responsibility and a proactive, resilient personality.
- Fluent German and English.

- A minimum gross salary of EUR 60,000 to 65,000 per year based on full-time employment, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on experience and qualifications.
