Loan Capital Markets is part of the Group Corporates division. We are responsible for syndicated/club loans as well as structuring of more complex corporate transactions and we work very closely with account managers and client executives in all countries where Erste Group is present.

The candidate will be a member of a dynamic and international team of product experts, which originates structures and executes mandates for loan transactions for investment and non-investment grade corporates in the CEE region across a variety of industries.

Your Tasks

• Participate in origination efforts vis-a-vis top notch corporate clients including preparing client pitches and taking part in client meetings
• Contribute to and prepare credit applications, financial models (excel based) and briefing materials for senior management as part of your daily routine 
• Play an active role in the execution of high profile syndicated and complex corporate transactions, including reviewing mandate and loan documentation 
• Communicate with other syndication partners and contribute to the marketing activities of Erste Group
• Work in interdisciplinary and multinational transaction teams across different Erste Group geographies, product and coverage units
• Monitor and review existing portfolio assets, composing reports and manage risks

Your Background

• Strong academic background and a university degree in finance, business, economics, law or similar with a study focus on banking & finance or corporate finance
• Good understanding of financial statements and deal structures, combined with a basic knowledge of mandate and loan documentation
• Several years (5-6 years) of relevant professional experience in syndication, structured finance, corporate banking or a related field
• Very good communication and presentation skills, as well as strong attention to detail
• Fluency in German and English

• For this position, we offer a gross annual salary starting at EUR 60,900.00 (full-time, including overtime allowance / all-in arrangement). Your actual salary will be based on your qualifications, experience, and individual fit for the role.
