HR Generalist (all genders)

Leoben, Veitsch, Breitenau | Full time

Your position

In this role, you will support our production plants in Veitsch and Breitenau across a broad range of HR topics, ensuring regular weekly presence on both sites. As part of an experienced and collaborative P&C team across all Austrian locations, you will be working closely with peers to share knowledge and best practices. Acting as a sparring partner for managers, employees, and works councils, you will combine hands-on operational support with advisory responsibilities and involvement in HR projects.

Your tasks

• Providing on-site HR support for employees and managers across both plants
• Handling operational HR processes including onboarding, employee data management, and compliance
• Collaborating with works council representatives and ensuring compliance with Austrian labor law
• Acting as a trusted partner for leadership teams and employees on all HR-related matters
• Coordinating and executing recruitment activities for specific plant roles
• Possibility of supporting regional and group-wide HR projects, such as system implementation and process design

Your profile

• Several years of relevant experience across a broad variety of HR topics in a manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of Austrian labor law and experience in works council relations
• Ability to interact confidently with senior leaders, shop-floor employees, and works council
• Team player with a positive mindset and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• English fluent and German fluent
• Completed labor law training, for example Arbeitsrecht ExpertIn WIFI
