Data Analyst - Yield Measurement & Optimization Retail Media (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Drive the development of Yield Measurement & Optimization capabilities for Retail Media, using data to improve inventory utilization, pricing efficiency, campaign performance and revenue
• Analyze Retail Media data across inventory, pricing, campaign delivery, media performance and revenue using BigQuery, SQL and advanced analytics to identify performance gaps and monetization opportunities
• Develop and automate yield reporting and dashboards in Looker Studio, establishing transparency on key KPIs such as inventory utilization, fill/sell-through rate, CPM/CPC, campaign delivery, ROAS and revenue performance
• Translate analytical findings into actionable commercial and operational recommendations, quantifying potential revenue and efficiency impact
• Work closely with Campaign Management to analyze campaign delivery, pacing, inventory constraints and other operational factors affecting yield and monetization
• Partner with Product, Data and BI teams to improve data quality, availability and consistency and establish reliable datasets and a single source of truth for yield measurement
• Analyze supply and demand, inventory utilization and pricing performance to support data-driven inventory and pricing decisions
• Lead analytical and optimization initiatives end-to-end, from business problem definition and requirements gathering through analysis, stakeholder alignment, implementation and measurement of results
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, BI, Commercial and Campaign Management teams to embed yield insights into ongoing Retail Media decision-making

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in Digital Advertising, AdTech, Retail Media, e-commerce media or a comparable data-driven media environment
• Strong hands-on data analytics experience, with demonstrated ability to work independently with large and complex datasets
• Strong practical experience with BigQuery and SQL, including querying, joining and analyzing datasets to answer complex business questions
• Hands-on experience building reporting and analytical solutions using Looker Studio or comparable BI tools
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Good understanding of digital advertising and media performance metrics including impressions, CPM, CPC, CTR, conversion, ROAS and revenue performance
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations and measurable commercial opportunities
• Experience in independently managing analytical projects or workstreams, including requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, implementation and follow-up
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical, product, operational and commercial stakeholders
• Experience with yield management, inventory optimization, pricing or revenue management
• Experience within Retail Media, particularly onsite advertising, sponsored products or digital advertising inventory
• Understanding of programmatic advertising, campaign management and AdTech platforms
• Experience developing automated reporting, data models or scalable measurement solutions
• Basic Python or additional data engineering/analytics capabilities would be an advantage
