Tietoevry Austria GmbH hat aktuell 59 offene Jobs in Wien, darunter Test Manager - Tieto Tech Consulting und Test Engineer - Tieto Tech Consulting.
Rund 280 IT-Fachleute arbeiten bei Tietoevry Austria in Wien, Linz und Graz. Sie richten SAP-Systeme in Industriebetrieben ein, bauen Datenplattformen und entwickeln Software für Banken, Versicherer und öffentliche Auftraggeber. Vom Wiener Büro am Handelskai aus wird zugleich das zentraleuropäische Beratungsgeschäft des Konzerns mit rund 900 Beschäftigten geführt. Dazu kommt ein Standort in Zürich.
Die österreichische Gesellschaft gibt es seit 2005, damals noch unter dem Namen TietoEnator Austria. Hinter ihr steht die finnische Tieto Oyj, die bis März 2026 als Tietoevry firmierte: rund 13.000 Beschäftigte in über 20 Ländern, etwa 1,8 Milliarden Euro Umsatz im Jahr 2025, notiert an den Börsen in Helsinki, Stockholm und Oslo. Im IT-Geschäft ist der Konzern seit 1968 tätig. Die österreichischen Teams gehören zur Beratungssparte Tieto Tech Consulting, neben den Softwarebereichen für Banken, Gesundheitswesen und Industrie.
Das Geschäft ist Projektgeschäft. Die Teams begleiten Kunden von der Beratung über die technische Umsetzung bis zum laufenden Betrieb, meist auf Plattformen von SAP, Microsoft oder Salesforce, die in großen Unternehmen ohnehin laufen. Man arbeitet also selten am eigenen Produkt im stillen Kämmerlein, sondern beim Kunden am System. Wie breit das Spektrum ist, zeigen die offenen Stellen: ein Lead Data Engineer in Linz, eine SAP-Finance-Beraterin für die S/4HANA Public Cloud in Graz, dazu Entwicklerinnen und Entwickler für Java und .NET, Solution Architects und Projektleitung. Auftraggeber sind unter anderem Banken und Versicherungen, Telekom- und Energieunternehmen sowie die öffentliche Hand.
Gearbeitet wird hybrid. Laptop und Smartphone dürfen auch privat genutzt werden, das KlimaTicket wird bezuschusst, Aus- und Weiterbildung führt das Unternehmen selbst unter seinen Leistungen an. Gehälter nennt Tieto in den Inseraten offen und mit Bezug auf den IT-Kollektivvertrag; bei einem Lead Data Engineer stehen dort 4.476 Euro brutto im Monat als Einstiegswert (Stelleninserat, abgerufen im August 2026).
Zur genauen Belegschaftsgröße in Österreich schwanken die öffentlichen Angaben je nach Stichtag zwischen 280 und 300. Geführt wird die Gesellschaft von Robert Kaup, der zugleich das Consulting-Geschäft für Zentraleuropa verantwortet. Im Firmenbuch steht weiterhin Tietoevry Austria GmbH mit Sitz in Wien; auf der Website und in Stelleninseraten steht seit dem Rebranding im Frühjahr 2026 nur noch Tieto.
