Your tasks

• Collaboration in the field of automated bending, vision
• Implementation of a 3D measurement of bent parts for quality control of the bending result
• Development and evaluation of AI-based image processing algorithms:
  • Object recognition and localization, especially of sheet metal blanks
  • Video analysis of bending machines in operation (e.g. using VLMs)
  • Segmentation of the inner area of bending cells, e.g. for collision avoidance

Your profile

• Completed technical education (HTL/FH/University)
• Sound knowledge of C#/.NET, basic knowledge of C++
• Experience with Python
• Understanding of robotics
• Know-how in the field of automated bending
• Knowledge of image processing/optics (MVTec Halcon)
• Confident handling of Git
• High problem-solving ability and initiative
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• High level of commitment
