Responsible for building the business and technology scenarios which allow customers to decide on the most appropriate solutions from the array of existing SAP Solutions, including on premise, private or public SAP cloud, hybrid and partner-solution options. Architects consult customers on all types of services available, with the goal of building the path into a digitized future, focusing on SAP's latest technology and portfolio of services and solutions.

Core tasks

• Act as an advisor to customers and guide them towards the next step of IT services with holistic advice focused on applications, industries or technology.
• Assess the as-is situation and business goals of customers and provide a structured path towards an integrated IT landscape and the relevant operational approach for implementation.
• Translate the desired IT end-state scenario into actionable project steps for implementation.
• Maintain key relationships with business leaders, including Chief Information Officers, to jointly design the IT end-state and required services and solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants, project managers, development and sales organizations to deliver resources for customer roadmaps.
• Clarify stakeholder expectations, create paths to solutions and collaborate with customer and SAP teams for the best possible implementation.
• Drive knowledge management and innovation activities based on customer experience.
• Collaborate and co-innovate with development teams.
