The Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH (PCCL) is Austria’s leading research center for polymer science and plastics engineering. Together with industry partners and academic institutions, around 100 employees develop innovative polymer solutions across a wide range of applications. Tasks
  • Literature review
  • Synthesis and characterization of thermally latent catalysts
  • Characterization of vitrimeric networks containing thermally latent catalysts
  • Working with measurement devices such as TGA; DSC; DMA; UV-VIS; NMR; UTM; FTIR; EGA and rheometer
  • Interpretation of data
  • Preparation of presentations, participation in meetings and publishing the results in a master thesis
Required skills
  • Knowledge in chemistry, polymer chemistry and polymer engineering or related disciplines
  • Experience in working in a lab environment
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Personal initiative, good organizational skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Good communication skills in English; basic skills in German are advantageous

  • Gross monthly salary of € 1.024 (15h per week)
