As a Service PMO Intern (m/f/d) at INNIO, you will support the Services Project Management Office (=PMO) in driving service improvement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives across the global Services organization.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in project management, stakeholder coordination, process improvement, project documentation, data analysis, reporting, and workshop support. You will work closely with project managers, service teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to help structure, track, and communicate key service improvement activities.You will also support the Services PMO by assisting in the development of training materials, tool & process improvement around project management and sharing best practices across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

Project Management & PMO Support

  • Support project managers in coordinating service improvement, IT, digital, and process improvement projects, including progress tracking, stakeholder communication, risk reporting, and status updates

  • Prepare meetings, workshops, SteerCo materials, and project documentation, and support follow-up, project closure, lessons learned, and sustainability tracking

Continuous Improvement & Change Management

  • Identify and document process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, supporting root cause analysis through data analysis and process mapping

  • Support continuous improvement and change management activities by preparing workshops, tracking actions, and maintaining templates and training materials

Services Project Management Office (PMO) & Best Practice Sharing

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Service PMO, including program reporting, monitoring, and preparation of SteerCo materials

  • Help simplify ways of working and improve project execution by sharing templates, tools, best practices, and lessons learned

What You Will Learn

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Management or related field
  • Availability for a 6-month internship
  • Excellent English skills (written and oral); German skills preferred
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Interest in project management, PMO work, process improvement, operational excellence, or consulting-style problem solving
  • Basic understanding of project management methods, continuous improvement, Lean, Agile, or change management
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a structured way of working
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment with diverse teams
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with international stakeholders
  • Proactive, reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable supporting several workstreams in parallel
  • Interest in digital tools, data analysis, reporting, automation, or AI-supported ways of working is an advantage

The internship is to be filled as soon as possible for 6 months with a possible extension to 12 months. The basic salary for this position is based on the statutory minimum salary of EUR 2.698,59 gross per month in Austria.
