As an apprentice trainer (m/f/d) in the field of metal technology and mechatronics, you’ll play a key role in training our future skilled workers. With your technical expertise, your enthusiasm for industrial practice, and your teaching skills, you’ll create a motivating learning environment and lay the foundation for successful careers. You’ll be supported by an experienced team and carefully introduced to your new role. Our current apprentice trainer will continue to support you with their knowledge and experience and will actively guide you through your initial training phase. Through a structured and guided onboarding process, you’ll receive the necessary support to grow into your new role step by step and fulfill it successfully over the long term.


TASKS

  • Technical and practical training of apprentices (currently 32 in total) in the fields of metalworking and mechatronics
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting training programs
  • Teaching technical expertise and practical skills
  • Promoting the personal and professional development of apprentices
  • Preparing apprentices for vocational school, exams, and everyday work life
  • Collaboration with specialized departments, vocational schools, and internal contacts
  • Assessment of learning progress and preparation of training documentation
  • Contribution to the further development of modern training concepts

PROFILE

  • Completed technical training (apprenticeship, master craftsman certification, HTL, or equivalent) in the field of metal technology, mechatronics, or a related discipline
  • Several years of practical professional experience in training apprentices in an industrial setting
  • Training instructor certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Enjoyment of working with teenagers and young adults
  • Strong communication and motivational skills
  • Sense of responsibility, patience, and teaching skills
  • Proficiency in using modern training and learning methods
  • Very good German language skills
